Later today the company I design for will be closing its doors. I am still in the middle of a project so I will be working for a few weeks after closing. That’s good, but I do wish that the time I finally found a job I liked it wouldn’t be going down the tubes. I spent part of my day at the beach in Charleston, SC. Folly Beach. What an awesome place. Did a little surfing and hung out with my friends. A little tired from that. When I got home, I began writing a new song. That will bring my arsenal up to a whopping five songs now. Wow! I am writing like a madman *rolls eyes in sarcasm*. I just don’t know what to do anymore. Sometimes when you breathe the summer air, you can close your eyes and lose yourself. I closed my eyes tonight feeling on top of a mountain and when I opened them, I felt like I was at the lowest crater. I get myself worked up for success or happiness and somehow I always find myself lying on my back again.

Alright, alright…had a complaint from the roomy. “You didn’t update the blog…wah, my butt hurts.” Yeah, so here is the update. Went to the beach yesterday for some surfing and hanging out with my chum(not a good idea while surfing…oooohhhh.) It was awesome. The beach is where it’s at. Got good and tanned and peeling. Sigh. I am about to go back to the daily grind…you know the MTV show, it’s cool, you know, whatever. I think tonight or tomorrow will be the day that the update is not so trivial. This is basically a round about shout out to Ben!!!

Wow! The weather here today was awesome. I worked part of the day, then headed out to the tennis courts to play doubles…actually just rallying, but it was challenging and fun none the less. Been listening to the new Radiohead for a little while now, and am still blown away. No, it is not a return to the days of The Bends or OK Computer even, but it is definitely something different. The last track is looping right now. I can’t get enough. On another note, my roommate Ben got a new computer. Dell Dimension 8300 series. Wow!!! I am a Mac guy myself, but even I have to say that that computer cooks. Congratulations Ben. After tennis I took a dip in the pool at a local apartment building…shhhhh. Now it is time to shower away the kid-pee and chlorine and get ready to work some more. Potatoes are on the menu tonight!!!blasted potatoes.

Last night after the Love Apple show, I unloaded the band’s equipment and headed for home. My friends called and wanted me to go out with them. I wasn’t really in much of an “out” mood, but I figured I would go and sit for a while. I parked my van in front of a friend’s house and walked down to five points. Upon my return my side window was broken. What is going on? I am so tired of so much.

So I have been pretty bad about not coming around to updating the blog… Well, here is my effort. I have actually been cruising around looking at other blogs and taking tally of what I like and don’t like, so the face of this may change. Anyway, I am off to practice with Love Apple for an acoustic set tomorrow night. Hope to see you there.
