The time I would spend with pictures I would not send.

I watched you go from left to right.

I followed you all night across my blinds.

You’ll change your mind come Monday and turn your back on me.

You’ll take your steps away with hesitance.

Take your steps away from me.

I’m making my peace, making it with distance.

Maybe that’s a big mistake.

You know I’m thinking of you.

I miss you.

You’ll change your mind come Monday and turn your back on me.

You’ll take your steps away with hesitance.

You’ll take your steps away from me.

You’ll change your mind come Monday and turn your back on me.

Take your steps away with hesitance.

Take your steps away from me.

Well, the water heater is fixed and George is getting pretty settled in. The house is a wreck though. This week it will hopefully start to get better. Melanie came by yesterday and picked up the rest of her stuff, so there is a little more space. It is a little weird that there is nothing else here of hers. It’s not like when her stuff was here I sat around and stared at it or anything, but there is definitely something about it being gone that finalizes her absence. After she left, I went to the football game. Carolina played well up until some crucially stupid mistakes. After the game, George and I played a pick-up football game with my coworkers from D.S.S. That was really great. We played for about three hours before heading back home. I am extremely sore and stiff. Hopefully the majority of that will have worn off by the time I wake up in the morning. I have a lot on my mind lately. Thoughts seem to come and go in cycles. It always seems that there is a weekly epiphany and I am set to conquer the world come Monday. By Friday the house is in shambles next to my emotions and budget. I am finding out that that is the way it goes for a lot of people. Tomorrow I will be setting up for a webcast for the City of Columbia, and then back at the office for some design. Provided the weather is nice, it ought to be a decent day.

Today I worked from home because for the past day or two I haven’t had any hot water here at the house. I stayed here so that when the repair men came someone would be here to guide them to the breakers, water heater, etc… Staying home kind of sucks…I mean I got stuff done, but there was no one to talk to. Anyway, I think the water heater is fixed now. I am waiting for the tank to have time to fill up before testing it too much. The house needs some work as we continue to help George settle in. I think I can spruce it up a little after work tomorrow once I have been paid. That’ll be nice. I can feed and give litter to the kitties, and have food again. Jill IM’ed me a second ago, but I was in the front yard playing my guitar, so I missed it. I haven’t hung out with her and Colleen since Halloween, so maybe they want to hang. That would be cool…also this gets Colleen’s name mentioned as she requested yesterday:) Saturday the Cocks take on the Gators. I haven’t been to a football game in a long time, so it will be fun to go again. Melanie is going to come over that morning to pick up the remainder of her belongings that have been here since she moved out. I guess it’ll be the final goodbye to a once hopeful and memorable five years. After she is finished, I am heading to the game and then to a pickup football game with George and my coworkers. See ya tomorrow.

I felt good today in that I got to wear all black except for my favorite jeans. I really feel comfortable in black, but anyway. After work I went to Justin and Leslie’s to work out and have a bite to eat. That was pretty cool. The burgers and company were good, and the work out did its job. We did presses, curls, punching, kicking and a few other things that I don’t know the names for. Justin finished his work out with a ride on the stationary bike and I hit the road with his dog, Gohan, for a nice long run. Post work out, I went and got some coffee with Ben and Marlowe. That was very nice, as I haven’t seen them for any great lengths lately. We had some stimulating conversation over coffee and wine. Crap. I don’t know where I was going with this. Fart! Goodnight.

Okay so tonight is going to be all “nerd report”. As you all know, I finally have a job. Thus I see no major reason to keep my portfolio up at the URL www.jebbgraff.com. I have moved it to the directory “portfolio”. If you want to see it go to www.jebbgraff.com/portfolio. I need to update it, but anyway… So yeah. This blog is now at www.jebbgraff.com. Easy to remember and such. I may be switching servers soon as this one is pretty fickle. Ben told me he is going to be updating his blog pretty soon, so that’s cool. I can’t wait to read what’s on his brain. See ya tomorrow.
