Well I have been here, but on blogging hiatus. It seems that I have been on those a lot lately. Well that’s what happens when you’re too busy to do anything. The company I work for recently sold to ResortQuest, owned and operated by Gaylord Entertainment. That is some good news. ResortQuest is at the top of the industry. It does mean that I have been extremely busy…extremely doesn’t cover it really. When I first started here, there was about a week where I didn’t have much to do at all, which I expected until people started to know I was here. Now with the company change over and all, I don’t have time for anything. Most days I don’t even take a lunch, and that can get pretty crazy when it comes to working from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm.

The unfortunate impact has been on my life outside of the office. As many of you know, I am a freelance designer and photographer as well. I don’t know that you can really call me that anymore based on the limited time I have. I am still working on a website I started in October and have already had to give a major discount based on my inability to get free time to work on the site. God I hope to have that done soon and that the friendship with the client isn’t tarnished. I also find that one of the main reasons I moved here was to spend more time with my family, friends, and on things I like to do. Well, since I’ve been here I do all of those things less than I did when I lived in Columbia. Basically after the hour long drive home in the evenings, I just grab a bite and hit the sack. I guess it’s worth it though for the future.

I wish I had more time to write about something else…the good things that are going on in my personal life maybe. Maybe later.
