This weekend is party time in Columbia.

I still don’t know what I’ll be for Halloween, but probably fat and stinky. I’m good at that.

I usually don’t mention anything about this day in history here on this spot of the web, but I usually think about it. Where I was. What I said. What she did. It’s already been so long, but it’s still fresh in my mind how my faith was renewed, and the tragic circumstances that renewed it. To all of Connie’s friends, I wish you a day of fond memories and smiles. To Connie’s family, I wish the same peace on you. To Connie, I have to thank you again for the one forgiving tear drop moments before the deluge that followed.

I’m hanging out having my lunch break at the moment. A little left-over lasagna. I have heartburn and some queasiness though, so I think I may head over to the general store for some crackers instead.

I’m a little bummed because I am entering the photography contest at the Coastal Carolina Fair and when my prints came in this morning, only a couple were useable. This contest came about very last minute for me and the entries are due tomorrow. I don’t have any time to reprint, so I think I will only submit a couple of shots.

I think I mentioned this one too, but my digital camera is broken. It will still shoot photos, but the LCD screen is broken which would be no big deal, but that’s where I see all the settings. It’ll almost be like shooting LoMo now. Just cross your fingers and squeeze the shutter release. The really big bummer is that my underwater case just arrived. I was really looking forward to getting some shots from the surf with that. I may just buy the same model camera from eBay as it’s out of date and pretty cheap now. After Christmas, I will probably be getting a hold of a new Nikon D70s. All the reviews are great and I already have Nikon family lenses, so that’ll save a few bucks as well.

Well, I’m going to go see about this lunch thing.
