Recently Jessica and I went to meet one of the reps from our home builder at the design studio to pick out the details of the interior of our home. That would be all the non-structural things like cabinets, countertops, etc. We mainly went with all of the standard/basic stuff because it will be cheaper and more fun for us to do the upgrades ourselves. Anyway, we wanted to go look around our neighborhood at the houses that had already been built to help us choose our exterior colors as we don’t want our house to look like the next house down etc. I went inside and told the nice lady that helped us that we were going to leave Jessica’s car there while we cruised the neighborhood. She said “no biggie” and Jessica and I were off. When we got back there was a note on Jessica’s Explorer that said how sorry the lady was for running into Jessica’s car. She was used to no one being there when she left in the afternoons so she just popped her car in reverse and took off. She broke her own taillight out and put a major dent in Jessica’s driver side rear fender. Pretty funny story told horribly unfunny.

Thanks.

The Ivy League – Jebb – NBT – 040506
Originally uploaded by Jebb Graff.

I wanted to thank everyone who came out to see my new band, The Ivy League, this past Wednesday and Thursday. We played with Feable Weiner and Cruiserweight both nights which made for two incredibly good rock shows.

If you didn’t make it out but want to go to the next one, we’ll be playing with Wheatus on May 25th in Myrtle Beach at The Social.

It was our first two shows so naturally mistakes were made and the vocals weren’t the best, but overall I think the response was good. I waqs very pleased to see everyone that made it out and I hope you’ll come again.

We should have a recording of one or two songs up on our Myspace page by the end of June. You’ll be posted.
